This is a Henckels whittler.  Made by Boker in Solingen Germany, these Henckels were made to a higher standard and it shows.  The handles are some of the best looking colored jigged bone.  The color is called Mountain Moss and the jigging is pen feathers.  Handles are chip and crack free.  The stainless steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edge.  The back springs are tapered from thicker to thinner, in much the same way a split backspring whittler goes from thicker to thinner.  This knife has a manufactureing flaw.  The main blade nail nick is covered by the secondary blade when closed.  To open requires opening that blade before you can get to the main blade.  Priced accordingly.  Measures 3 1/2" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  Comes with the original box.  Free shipping within the USA.
