Jaeger Brothers Beautiful Stag Handles Auto

This knife is in new, never carried and never re-sharpened condition. The over all length is 8-1/8” when fully opened. It’s got the Jaeger Bros. curved tang stamp with Marinette, Wis. Stamp. And on the back it has the Pat. Oct 23^rd 1916 stamp. With some of the best stag handles, nickel bolsters and brass liners. The blade has a good snap when closing and fast when opening. The lever is kind of stiff, and opens with power. The most unusual feature of this knife is the etching on the blade, It has 2 hound dogs chasing a racoon, and there is an American Flag on the front rear bolster. You don’t see many of these knives around now days especially with the blade etchings and bolster flag. With the blade length and diamond pattern on the lever, I believe this knife is one that was made in the 1970’s according to some reference books I read,  there were only about 600 of those made during that time in an effort to save Olson Knife Company. With the limited number produced, I think that would draw a premium.
