Stag is difficult to get in US unless you go to certain makers whose work already draws a premium. So I looked further afield.  Ashley Harrison of the UK, recommended by UK dealer Congy Knives,  offers a custom Lambsfoot with great true stag slab scales, contoured to leave butt thicker, at a full 4" closed. He uses a different pivot system from most USA makers. Offers an easy pull with gator snap and soft half stop, there's a video up on YouTube. When you break from open, it requires more effort than pull. Just a difference...not a defect. Fluted bolsters Integral Stainless steel bolsters and ss liners and pins. 01 tool  steel for blade and spring, his grinds are killer. I wouldn't mar the stag with a shield. He doesn't ship with coa or slip..but I'll provide a custom pocket slip that fits. Weighs in at 2.5ozs and is very pocket friendly. This is not a new maker. Not entry level...Congy Knives and I bought several together and got a better price..as do you. Ships next day free USPS priority.
