This is a **RARE** Vintage GEBR ROEGER (Roeger Brothers) 2-Blade Teardrop Harness Jack Folding Pocket Knife with a  Barely Used and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Leather Punch Secondary Blade, a Gorgeous Set of Excellent Plus Brown Bone Stag Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished German Silver Rounded Bolsters and Teardrop End Caps, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, Made by GEBR ROEGER GERMANY (Gebr is Short for Gebruder which is Brothers in German) Located in Solingen, Germany and is 3 5/8” in length.

This is a RARE Vintage GEBR ROEGER SOLINGEN, or Roeger Brothers, 2-Blade Teardrop Harness Jack Folding Pocket Knife in excellent condition. I’ve only ever seen one other knife wby this maker and it was damaged. It took a lot of investigative work just to find a mention of this maker and that they were established in c.1922. I couldn’t find any other information on this maker. This vintage German made knife has barely been used and remains in excellent condition. The knife has a barely used big wide carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. The front face has a few barely perceptible scratches from use and some light staining running along the top 1/4” of the blade. The rear face has just a few specks on it. There are a couple of dings on the cutting edge near the blade tip. Stamped on the front tang is GEBR ROEGER (over) SOLINGEN  Stamped on the rear tang is GERMANY.  The knife also has a carbon steel leather punch secondary blade with a little light staining on the inside surface but it looks as though it’s never been used. It’s still full length with its original tip. Both blades still have very hard and loud alligator snap and very hard half-stops. The knife has a gorgeous set of brown jigged bone stag scales in excellent plus condition. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There is a brightly polished German Silver gimp style shield on the front scale. It does gave some scratches on it. There are three (3) brass handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished German Silver rounded bolsters and brightly polished German Silver teardrop shaped end caps. Both the bolsters and end caps are free of any dents and no more than some incidental and hardly noticeable dings or scratches. The liners are polished brass. The knife has two steel back springs and both are free of any breaks or cracks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This Vintage and Rare German made Gebr Roeger (Roeger Brothers) 2-Blade Teardrop Harness Jack folding pocket knife is a rare gem of a pocket knife and was made in Solingen Germany around or after 1922 and is 3 5/8” in length.
