(NOTE, REVISED SHEATH, from original post and added dangler for belt. Thanks for the feedback.) All hand crafted, forged from 6150 steel. This steel is like the very popular 5160 but stronger/tougher with added vanadium. Vanadium pins grain size, adding edge retention, toughness and strength. There is one forge mark on it which I left rather than take more width away. The blade is 4.7mm at tang and has distal taper to the point. Blade is 6” long, sanded progressively by hand to 1000 grit. I silver solder join tang/guard with a fine line on most all my knives, (see photos). The overall length is 11.5” The handle is nickel silver guard, crown stag next, then a series on spacers including stabilized/dyed elm burl and more. The Axis deer stag is pith free and is also pinned. I include a handmade sheath, please advise if you prefer a para cord tie and I will add one at no charge. just didn’t feel it needed it. Sheath is 6oz vegetable tanned leather, all custom fit for this knife. Please ask me questions, I like to exchange with you.
