This Custom Camillus USA Sharp finger/Skinner style knife is a factory ground and tempered blade.Marked CAMILLUS NEW YORK USA.I file worked the blade all around the handle and down the top of blade to approx 1" from the tip. The Handle scales are made from Hippo Ivory Tusk the actual tusk is shown in last photo. What appear as cracks in the Ivory are not realy cracks they are natural and part of character of the tusk. The end of the leather lanyard is is also tipped with Hippo Ivory that has been shaped and polished.This is not thin1/8" Ivory slabs last photo is the actual blade and tusk that was used and there wasn't much usable left over Ivory.
