The steel is high carbon W2 steel (files, drill rod, etc), made with a full tang. The blade shape unique, thick with distal taper and dropped point. The finish is taken to 2000 grit hand sanded. (It’s not buffed) Nickel silver guard silver soldered to the tang and the tang is tapered slim to fit the hand by allowing it thicker at the guard. Eight 1/8” nickel silver pins secure the black scales and each pin is perfectly domed to add a distinguished look to the knife. Handle could be called a coffin shape to some degree. I added 2 score lines to each bolster as seen in many knives of the era. The sheath is veg tanned, hand crafted to fit this knife alone and slim fits as the knife.
