Large Leuko Knife, blued “shear” steel blade and custom fit sheath included USA maker
For your personal use or collection is this handforged Leuko / Leuke or Finnish-Scandinavian All purpose camp knife. The blade is made from vintage shear steel found in an old buggy spring offered to me because I make “Knives”. (Google blister steel -shear steel). The steel forges like old wrought but is keenly stronger, amazing edge holding and exhibits excellent toughness for chopping, slicing and all purpose chore work. The blade is blued and still shows some pits from exterior rusting as found. The handle is some type apple wood.... very hard wood and durable. The over length is 12” with a 7” blade.
