Gerber USA Model 475 'S' 'Dot' 57 Big Game Blade Presentation Series Macassar Ebony Finger grooves
This is a wonderful Gerber Model 475 (4 3/4 blade) and as the brochure states, made of 440c. The tang stamp reads Model 475 and below, S 'dot' 57 that indicates the Rockwell hardness. Double wedge ground blade with thumb grooves. I don't see any real use of the knife just signs of handling as it was made in the 70's. Towards the tip, there are signs of light honing but other than that, no honing. The Ebony Macasssar handles have thin brass spacers at either end. Blade thickness is .187 asnd OAL is 9 3/4". Original leather sheath markerd Gerber shows normal wear. Smoke free garage. I will gladly take your check or money order if you like. Brochure comes with the knife.
