one unused  Gerber Legendary Blades carving set,   another  fine item  from my collection. vintage Gerber Legendary Blades carving set, a classic mid-century. my father's  gun store was one of the largest  retailers  of Gerber  knives .  this set has never been used been sitting  in a bin for over 30 years  .the knife  and fork are in perfect  never used condition  the blade is razor  blade sharp.  the box has a a walnut  wood  peice that holds the knife and fork.  the box few minor wear spots still looks  fantastic  for its age .  Based on the distinctive handles and the red velvet-lined presentation box, these sets are often identified by specific names for each tool:

• Knife is stamped Durendal : Frequently referred to as the "Siegfried" carving knife.
• Fork: is stamped Siegfried.  Often called the "Ron" or "LittleSnick" meat fork.
