Early Large Lon Humphrey Custom Knives "Death Wind" Knife about 8.5" BLADE & 13.5" OAL US Made, hand forged.  I ordered this "Death Wind" from Lon in about 2011 and it came without the  customary "Death head" skull and cross bones stamped into it.  So it is a very unique Death Wind that he produced.  I cannot locate the original Box with it.

I am the original owner and I have never used the knife, just show it to friends and handled it and stored it. I put bee's wax on the blade to protect it, so there may be some of that on the blade in the photos.  There are a couple of rubs/scrates from the Kydex liner of the sheath that can be seen on the blade.  PLEASE RESEARCH THIS ITEM BEFORE BIDDING,  SEE PICTURES. The pictures are part of the description. Please examine them carefully. You get exactly what is pictured. The knife is based on Lewis Wetzel:

“The Death Wind" Lewis Wetzel (1763-1808) is considered the greatest of all frontiersmen, scouts, and Indian fighters of the Border Wars of the Upper Ohio Valley frontier.  In June 1786, four of the Wetzel men were returning by canoe from a hunting trip when they were attacked by tribesmen. Although Lewis Wetzel managed to canoe beyond musket range (and was not wounded), his father John and brother George died before reaching Baker's Station,[ though his brother Martin survived his wound. At some point, the young man vowed to avenge his family.[8]

Wetzel later participated in several military campaigns against Native American tribes in the Ohio region, and claimed to have taken 27 or 37 Native American scalps. He preferred to operate alone; military procedure did not suit him even while serving with the militia. He became renowned for an ability to load his rifle while sprinting (perhaps by using smaller shot than other frontiersman as well as for always holding a few bullets in his mouth), and which probably saved his life several times during raids
