Rare Vintage Mauro Mario 8" Picklock Kris Stiletto
You are bidding on a Rare Vintage Mauro Mario Picklock Switchblade Stiletto Pocket Knife, made in Maniago, Italy, circa 1940s - 1950s. FEATURES INCLUDE: Polished Fine-Edge Stainless-Steel Kris Blade, and a Handle with Bovine (Cow) Horn Scales, Polished Nickel-Silver Bolsters, Brass Pins & Liners, a Round Release Button with classic Leaf-type Kick-Spring and a Sliding Safety Switch. SPECS INCLUDE: Overall Length is 8" with a 3-5/8" Blade and weighs 3 ounces. The blade has "MAURO" over "MARIO" over "ITALY" lightly-stamped into the tang. This Knife shows some handling but remains in VERY-GOOD CONDITION overall for its age. The blade may have been re-sharpened with several fine grind marks but remains full, fires with authority and locks-up with a small amount of side-to-side mov't. The blade locks closed but with a small amount of peak - if the blade is pressed down into the liners when engaging the safety switch, the blade locks without peaking. The handle's genuine Bovine Horn Scales look attractive with what appears to be a surface scratch running between the two top pins on the main side, otherwise no chips or cracks. The Nickel-Silver Bolsters are shiny and there isa smaal dent in the main top finger-guard bolster, otherwise no issues. And, the backspring runs straight along the liners with no gaps. A very-nice, hard-to-find piece for your collection. Comes only as shown, no packaging or paperwork like most real Italians. Please ask questions before bidding or buying, selling AS-IS. Must be ar least 18 years of age to purchase. No foreign sales/shipping. Thank you once again for your interest in my item, and good luck bidding!!
