This is a Vintage Barely Used and Unsharpened CLARK BROS GERMANY 1-Blade Easy Open Jack Folding Pocket Knife with a Barely Used and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with No Nail Pull, Intricately Embossed Metal Handles, Three Steel Handle Pins in Each Scale, A Single Steel Back Spring with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 1/8” in Length, Made by Clark Bros of Germany Between c.1895-1929.

This is a nice Clark Bris 1-Blade Easy Open Jack wIth a nice set of 1 piece embossed metal scales.  Clark Brothers we’re located in Kansas City, Missouri where they were both a manufacturer and an importer. This particular knife was bade in Germany. The knife has a lightly used and unsharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with no nail pull. Both faces are generally clean but they do have some light scratches from use and some super light micro-pitting. The blade appears to me to be unsharpened. Stamped on the front tang is CLARK (over) BROS (over) GERMANY. The blade still has excellent snap on open and close and a hard half-stop. The knife has a nice set of intricate embossed metal scales.  It has raised dots along the edges of the main portion of the handles  The interior portion of the scales have a dimpled pattern and raised above that is EASY OPEN along with some flourishes. There us a deep easy open cut out on top to allow opening the blade without a nail pull. There are three metal pins in each handle. It has a single steel back spring that’s free of any cracks or breaks and it continues to perform its designed functions. This Vintage Clark Bros Easy Open Jack knife is 3 1/8” in length and was made in Germany between c.1895-1929.  Additional photos or information on request.
