This is a large 4 1/4" closed Congress.  The Hen and Rooster version of this is called a Hill Billy Congress.  I believe these were made in the same plant as Bulldog knives.  After much research this is what I found.  Jim Parker used the Marbles brand without authorization and had Marbles knives made in Germany and Japan.  At the time these were made he owned the Bulldog brand and had most, if not all, the Marbles Germany knives made there as well.  There is a Bulldog version of this out there also.  This knife has imitation tortoise shell handles that I believe are celluloid and not acrylic since celluloid is what Bulldog was using at the time.  Plus if you see these for sale many have some shrinkage away from the bolsters, which you do not get with acrylic.  The handles on this one are chip and crack free.  The blades are most likely carbon steel and have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edge.  Pinched and lined bolster along with mirror polished back springs make this knife really stand out on looks.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.  Free shipping within the USA.
