L. Silveira Custom Brazilian Rosewood Native..3 7/8"..14C28N Steel..fluted Integral Bolsters..great
Luciano Silveira of Brazil builds some of the best Slipjoints made. He tries to source locally for scale material and only uses the best steels. This one has Brazilian Rosewood and look at how he worked the scales to get the grain to run with the handle. The bolsters are fluted and Integral...the blade steel is Sandivik 14C28N, extremely high retention. Has an even 4 pull or pinch, his symmetry is impressive. The swedge cut runs to end of nail nick and the blade lays perfectly. He's about a year out on his book now. Ships next day free priority USPS.
