This is a Vintage RIPPY, Robert (Bob) Custom made knife.  Rippy lived in EMORY TEXAS and was a well known Custom knife maker in Texas.  This knife is 10-1/4" overall in length, blade is 5-1/4".  The handle material is Stag / Antler, with 2 smooth spacers at the guard area, I believe one of them is Ivory, then it goes back to stag.  Very nice solid guard and the knife fits well in my hand, the way he left the Antler at the end makes for a sucure grip.  It is made of 3/16" blade stock and has the original edge on it, no sharpening marks.  I do see some light scratches on the blade, not sure what they are from.  NO SHEATH

Robert Rippy was one of the first knifemakers to design and make custom tactical/combat fixed blades in the 1980's. In addition to combat knives, he primarily made hunting knives, skinning knives, and other custom fixed blades in the 80's and early 90's. He passed away in 2014.
