This is an Unbranded Vintage Barely Used and Unsharpened 1-Blade Sleeveboard Fancy Shadow Pen Watch Fob Folding Pocket Knife with a Barely Used and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Clip Point Blade with its Original Factory Mirror Polish and its Original Factory Edge, a Gorgeous Set of Genuine Abalone Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Brass Handle Pin in Each Scale as Well as the Two Rivets Attaching the Original Bail to the Scales, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, a Single Polished Steel Back Spring, 1 7/16” in Length.

This is the perfect little watch fob or key chain knife if you don’t like a bulky pocket. But it’s too nice a abalone watch fob knife to actually carry. Though unbranded it’s as nice a knife as any John Salm made knife I’ve ever seen. I called this a sleeveboard fancy shadow pen but the shape of the knife is more like those of the Skelton knives. This little knife has a single lightly, barely, used carbon steel clip point blade. It has a few light scratches from use but that’s about it. It still retains its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge. Both blades still have good to excellent open and close snap. The scales on this knife are an exceptional set of genuine abalone. The front scale has a large area of the best and most colorful part of the shell. The rear scale also has a small part of the heart of the shell. But elsewhere the scales are very fiery and exhibit the blues, greens, purples and pinks when turned in the light. Both scales are in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There are two brass handle pins with one in each scale along with two more brass rivets on the other end that attaches the original brass bail to the frame. The knife has brightly polished brass liners and a single polished steel back spring. The spring is free of any cracks or breaks and continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. This is an excellent little 1-blade abalone watch fob knife with its unique shape. The knife is 1 7/16” in length. Additional photos or information on request.
