Bobby Toole Custom Mammoth Bone Trapper Knife, New, CPM-154 ,3 7/8" closed ,Ringed Steel Bolsters
This is a Mammoth Bone Trapper, his coa says 3 13/16",I'm calling it 4" closed. CPM-154 blade and backspring, 406 SS pins ,liners, ringed bolsters and fittingly, a dog bone shield. Hand rubbed and polished finish, perfect action, flush in all 3, video available. Bobby Toole is not a fulltime maker, he's semi retired and was a toole and die,machinist maker, for most of his life..the attention to detail shows in his knife making now. I asked about mammoth ivory and bone, he says the bone is densest bone, including giraffe bone, that he's ever used and occasionally he just prefers a different look.
