Vintage Wostenholm Japanese Tanto Lockback Folder, Eagle Scrimshaw On Handle, Unused
Vintage Wostenholm Japanese Tanto Lockback Folder, Eagle Scrimshaw On Handle, Unused. Marked on blade: "American Blade Collectors Super Show & Cutlery Fair" & "One of 600 1985". Marked on front tang: "WOSTENHOLM". Faint marking on back tang: "MADE IN JAPAN". This is one of those well made Japanese knives that was produced for the 80's import brands. The classic tanto blade on this model is really nice as is the bone handle and eagle scrimshaw.
- Has never been carried, used or sharpened. There are signs of poor handling and storage. Both bolsters have light scratches and tiny nicks which I tried to show in the pictures. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.
- Smooth opening and closing, light pull and good snap. Interesting lock back design.
- approximately 9 inch total length, approximately 4 inch blade.
- Knife only.
