Fire Char Tin
This is a fine, heavy duty tin for making, use and storage for tinder, char, flint, steel and other firemaking supplies. It has an internal airtight lid with a vent hole for using the tin to make char cloth and other charred materials for firemaking, it also has an external lid that helps protect against moisture. There is a small area between these two lids where fragile items can be stored, such as a burning lens (magnifying lens etc). External dimensions are 4 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" diameter. There is plenty of room in this tin for flint, steel, burning lens, charred material, ferro rod, candle, tinder, matches, lighter and other firemaking items and materials. This is the most versatile and secure tin I have found for use as a fire tin.
