Rare Vintage Indonesian, West Sumba Sword, Machete. Brought back by a WWII Veteran who served in the Pacific, Philippines, New Guinea etc. and brought this weapon when he returned home.  I got this years ago from his daughter and have kept it in my collection.   I am now thinning out my collection and passing things to other that I hope will appreciate them.  Sword comes with original sheath.   The handle is carved wood with a fiber wrap on the  wooden sheath.  The blade is mostly very sharp, so please handle with care!  Sheath and knife are in good used vintage condition.  Shows signs of some use and handling.  Moderate cosmetic wear, as expected with age and use, such as surface marks/scuffs, scratches, tarnish, general wear, etc. Many scratches markings on the blade and edge, no major damages - SEE PHOTOS # 3,8,9, AS THERE ARE CRACKS IN THE HANDEL!  The blade in secure in the handle.  Sheath has moderate wear to outside.      Please see photos for condition.
