Two OLD BONE HIGH CARBON STEEL CAMP & CATTLE Knives Camillus

These two were made by Camillus for Sears & Roebuck only circa 1920-1940. They both appear to be built on the same frame also, same size and thickness. No brass to be found on either one of them.

Both tang stamped on master blade:

HIGH CARBON

STEEL

U.S.A.

UTILITY or SCOUT Pattern:

Thick reddish bone handles/scales. No cracks or chips, slight pocket wear.

Excellent snap open and closing all blades/tools. Spiral awl (which at one time copyrighted by Camillus IIRC) looks to have been tipped. It is stamped 'Spiral Punch' also. All still have signs of original factory polish,

Nickel silver liners, pins, removeable bail and grooved bolsters. Shield has been inlayed into bone. It is also held by one pin attached to the liner.

CATTLE Pattern:

Thick bone stag handles scales. No, cracks but minor dings and nicks. Thumb groove for spey blade

Al steel liners, pins and grooved bolsters.

Spey blade is lazy on the open, but has excellent snap closing and with all other blades. Stain and slight pitting, edges appear honed except spey and has a light grind. I believe it could be dressed if desired.

Two solid & beefy old pocket knives ready for work or be placed into retirement/collection.

Both are approximately 3 3/4 inches closed.
