Old STAG Hollow Ground BIRD & TROUT Hunting Knife & Sheath

Nice little bird or fish knife with a hollow ground blade.

No deep pitting, looks to be staining from being stored in the sheath. Hollow ground etch still visible. Looking down the blade you can tell it, just like a straight razor. There is a ding near the tip, you can see it in the Etch photo.

Handle looks to have some tight age cracks, but do not appear deep or loose. See photo's.

Brass guard. Black and white micarta spacers.

Fist with three arrows tang stamp, looks like sticks the way it was ground. Used by Precise. It is a wholesale import firm. the fist/arrow tang stamp was used 1954-66 by Voos , Schlieper ; agent for Wenger . See Levine's Guide 4th Revised

The sheath is still stiff and does not have any water marks or deep stains. Stitching is missing from top rivet to middle rivet. It is not spread apart and could be easily re-done. Snap still snaps and has MADE IN GERMANY stamped on the back in leather. Not much belt wear to be seen either.

The knife itself is 6 1/4 long.
