This is an A.G. Russell One Hand knife.  Made in 1996 in Seki Japan by some of Japan's finest craftsmen.  This one is a First Produciton Run, FPR, so it's one of the first 500 made in this series.  The blade and body are all stainless steel with the blade made of 8A stainless steel.  The blade has not been used or resharpened and retains it's factory edge and is razor sharp.  No dings and very few surface scratches on the handles, it looks like this one was stored properly.  The knife opens with one hand by using the thumb hole and to close you push up on the black release mechanism with your thumb while applying a small amount of pressure on the blade with your forefinger.  It takes a little practice to get the knack of it.  Comes with the original white box and the plastic sleeve.
