Gerber Folding Sportsman II Lockback Engraved and Etched Bicentennial 1976. 1 of only 200!

Mint 1976 Gerber 'Special Issue' Bicentennial Folding Sportsman, with a beautiful set of Genuine Stag (deer stag) Handles, NO cracks. The Blade has special etchings by Aurum and the bolsters have been hand engraved by Bob Valade! The front side of the blade features the image of a Rattlesnake, which was featured on the Gadsden flag, along with the famous slogan "Don't Tread On Me". The rear side is Aurum etching is  of a beautiful Eagle spreading it's wings along with "1776 1976" in the banner. there were only 200 of these issued. The rear side of the blade has also been serialized by Aurum as it reads "#1784". The reason the serial number might seem so high, especially since only 200 of these were manufactured, is because the serial numbering was started at #1776, which make this actually knife number 8 out of 200! The front tang is stamped with Gerber, while the rear tang is stamped with Portand, OR 97223, U.S.A. This knife is 4 1/4" closed.
