For sale is a set of old Cattaraugus Cocobolo knife handles. If you have not heard of this in your search of knives here is a brief history of how I acquired these handles. My Partner Derek asked me to go to the old Cattaraugus Factory, with permission from the owner,  and see if we could find some old wood in the floor boards or rafters to use on knives that Great Eastern Cutlery were going to make for us. When my friend Donna and I got there the place was in ruin and structural wood could not be found to use, however we did find some old knife handles that were on the 1st floor and picked up some that were useable. We noticed that the ceiling above had collapsed and that was where the handles had fallen from. We checked the attic and found a large supply of unused handles. Many were damaged but most were in very nice condition. These are some of the handles. Please look at the last 2 pictures, these are custom knives made by Bobby Toole and Jared Oeser. Both knives have the Cattaraugus handles on them. So if you ever want nice wood handles for a custom knife here they are!! Please look the pictures over and see what they look like, the sale is for ONE  pair, I have 10 pairs to offer at this time. The pictures of the knives are to show the different colors that come out of the wood when cleaned up and polished. We can not tell what they look like so please don't ask for us to pick colors ok? The knives are NOT included but are shown for the handles only.
