ADDITIONAL INFO:   This is one of those knives that I fell in love with because of the great big swedge ground into both sides of the top of the blade and that awesome candle end frame! The tang stamp is partially illegible, but there is little doubt in my mind that it is a Cattaraugus. If someone reads this and knows this knife to be something else, please let me know! I do not intentionally give bad information and I’m always ready to learn something new! The bone handles I put on this knife is a recently released new pattern and color from Culpepper’s. It is the Bourbon colored with the RJB jigging pattern, RJB stands for Rogers jigged bone, and in addition to the Rogers jigging they have added worm grooves to the jigging. While it is not a perfect copy of the Cattaraugus bone jigging, it is does bears some similarities. Originally it was a two blade knife but the pen blade had been worn down so far that it could not be salvaged.

I made this for those guys like myself, who enjoy carrying an old knife with the old steel, but like it repaired so it functions properly and looks decent. If that’s you, welcome to your new knife! I know this is not a perfect knife, but I priced it accordingly, enough to pay for the materials used and the price I paid for the original knife.

This knife will ship via first class mail in a padded vinyl envelope unless the buyer would like to pay for an upgrade to Priority Mail. If you wish to upgrade to priority mail is an additional $2.50.

When shipping first class in padded envelopes I always wrap additional padding around the knife, it will be well padded.
