ADDITIONAL INFO:  This blade was manufactured; meaning it was blanked and ground in 1989 per the M date code beneath the tang stamp. This means it was made after Coleman purchased Western in 1977 and before Camillus purchased them in 1991. Originally this knife had Delrin handles on it. When I got the knife the Delrin handles were badly oxidized. I took the knife apart, cleaned the it up and replaced the Delrin handles with Sambar stag. It comes with the original factory sheath that has the Western name on the snap. This is a great little blade that makes an outstanding bird and trout knife but will handle most any task you give it.

 This is a restored & customized vintage knife. Like most old soldiers it may have a few battle scars, but it is ready to go to work!
