Folk's, when Mike Stewart headed Marble's knife division, exciting new blade patterns, and famous old patterns were abundent coming out of the old Gladstone factory !!! This Sportsman series is no exception !!! The design staff at Marble's took the best features from the 1950's Famous # 66 and # 62 Skin-Dress-Fillet knives and developed one of the most usefull groups of knives in their long storied 100 yr plus history !!! This series of knives with superior blade steel & design will be some of the most usefull knives in your outdoors arsenal !!!

This is the # 65 Stag / Alum Sportsman knife

Knife is 9 1/2" OAL with a 5 1/2" blade

Blade is stamped: Marble's Gladstone Mi. U.S.A. with the full Marble's address

Knife was made in 1999 as seen in spacer pattern

Blade is 52-100B Modified Carbon Steel...this blade steel took several top spots in the ABS sponsored World Cutting Championships !!!

Handle is Genuine Stag... it is just really nice Stag with nice color, good on both sides of the knife, its nice and heavy to the touch, and you just do not see Stag on these type knives very often !!!

Pommel is Aluminum, with a handy lanyard hole drilled in it, many ways to use this feature in a sportsman knife !!!

Comes with its Original Marble's stamped Leather Sheath
