ADDITIONAL INFO: The Camillus Sword Brand Streamline has always been a knife I found attractive with the deep stamping of the word STREAMLINE in the saber ground blade. These knives were usually handled with celluloid sometime in the mid-1930s. Often times it takes me three or four old Streamline knives to get enough parts to make one good one because of the damage caused by the offgassing celluloid. This particular knife was an exception to the rule; it had dark celluloid and some say that does not off gas as badly. I kept this knife for a number of years and then one day discovered that it had suddenly decided to off gas. I quickly removed the celluloid and decontaminated the knife and put it aside to be rehandled later. That was two or three years ago and I was just now able to finish it.
It would be a nice piece for a collection of stag handles, a Camillus or Sword Brand collection or just someone who likes beautiful knives.
