Stainless steel blade: There has been speculation over the years as to the type of steel used from Aus 6 to ATS-34, Many were reported to be made of Aus 8 a good stainless Steel for blades.. 

The lockback blade also has a brass lined hole in the butt of the wood handle. This is for securing it in the black leather sheath by snapping in on the pin in the sheath.  Fast, effective and reliable. The black leather sheath has a metal clip on the back for either securing it on your belt or for securing it in your boot thus the name "BOOT 'N BELT" knife. It also has on the metal piece "G96 BRAND JET - AER CORP. PATERSON, N.J. 07524 MADE IN JAPAN".

Knife is considered used as it was not received on a box. It appears not to be used much if any. Please examine the photos and judge for yourself.
