Folk's, selling & trading Marble's knives and accessories for longer than I like to admit, I have had several request's about selling other Marbles related Outing Equipment. So, I have decided to start letting a few piece's of my collection go to other Marble's collectors around the country. All of my Compasses & Waterproof Match Boxes are Antique / Vintage

Marbles compasses have been carried to the far corners of the globe. To the 1st expeditions to the north and south pole by Admiral's Peary & Byrd, deep in the Amazon & Africa on Teddy Roosevelts expeditions,... Charles Lindberg used one on the 1st trans-atlantic flight that is now displayed in the Smithsonian !!!

For all of WL Marble's fame as a knife & axe maker, he thought his compasses & match box's were his greatest contributions to the sportsman. People around him often tired of him saying: No sportsman should go into the woods without a compass...No woodsman would think of it !!!

Compass is stamped on back spine : Marble Arms & MFG. Co. 

This is a very, very, early design, only made from 1918 - 1928 in the long tang design

Compass is in very good condtion (see pics) & works very well
