ADDITIONAL INFO:  These riveting hammers feature a flat striking face used for driving and shaping rivets. The chisel shape end opposite of the flat striking face is the chisel shaped cross peen end, which is used for striking and spreading rivets. About a year and a half ago I got one of these hammers and it quickly became my go to hammer for most peening applications. I do use a lighter hammer for handle pins under 1/16” especially if the handles are thin bone. I also have a heavier hammer used for 1/8” pivot pins and large lock backs. But most of the pins between 1/16 and up to 1/8” I can peen with this hammer. I believe the price this hammer and the performance I have experienced these makes them a bargain.
