ADDITIONAL INFO: This knife is way out of my wheelhouse, to say the least. There is very little information on the company. Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings shows Aitor to be makers of switchblade knives as well as other types of hunting and pocket knives. From what I could find on eBay it looks like the Aitor company makes knives for the armies of more than one European nation. This one appears to be very similar to the ones currently listed as German military knives. The knife is bare head but has a lanyard hole through the entire frame, a great improvement, IMHO, over the lanyard ring. The steel and the knife appears to be very good and the blade took an incredible edge with very little effort. A great tool box, tackle box, club box, or a backup knife in case you lose your EDC or to carry one.
