CONDITION: Very Good

DAMAGE:   Aside from a few scuffs and scratches I see no real damage to the tool. The knife blade almost appears to have a tweak out in the tip but the side that faces the handle is totally flat and parallel to the handle. The other side slopes in to meet the point and cutting edge.

BLADE WEAR: Knife blade is approximately 90% full.

ADDITIONAL INFO:      When I got this I thought it was an earlier Leatherman Tool, I didn’t realize how early. Looking at some of the history of Tim Leatherman and his amazing tools I see this particular tool is just like the one posted on his website that he calls the PST, the pocket survival tool. PST was his original name for the tool he made and carried through Europe a trip about 1983.

This IS NOT the current production Collectors Edition PST! The Collectors Edition PST is approximately $275. This Leatherman tool is not the Collectors Edition PST. I believe it is a very early PST, I would estimate from the mid-1980s. I had one like it for several years until I gave it to a missionary who was headed to Africa. This tool is a nice lightweight multi tool great for carrying in your pocket, purse, glove box, backpack etc. for those occasions when you need a knife, can opener, screwdriver or pair of pliers for an emergency adjustment or repair. It is a nice lightweight tool (only 5.3 oz) and with the original leather sheath.
