ADDITIONAL INFO:   The 165OT was made from 1967 to 1991. When this knife was introduced in the name of the company was Schrade -Walden but in mid-1973 they change the name of the company to Schrade and they dropped the “-Walden” from the tang stamp. Obviously this knife was made prior to mid 1973, which means this knife is between 46 and 52 years old. These knives were made out of excellent carbo n steel and is one of the most highly sought after Schrade patterns by hunters.

This was an old knife that was in pretty good shape but did require some cleaning up before I could “dress it up for the dance” so to speak. The sheath that came with this knife at someone’s initials carved in it, so I replaced it with a new a sheath. This is a restored & customized vintage knife. Like most old soldiers it may have a few battle scars but it is ready to go to work or to be on display, the choice is yours!
