CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Normal wear and scratching to handles, bolsters & blades. Most notable the blades have been sharpened it appears on a stone and the sites are scratched from the sharpening. See pictures.

BLADE WEAR:   Approximately 10%

SNAP:   Good snap and great walk and talk.

ADDITIONAL INFO:     My apologies for the poor pictures, I could not seem to get a decent shot the last two days!  I am not familiar with this brand, but it does bring to mind some of the Boker congresses I have seen with step bolsters. I checked “Goins’ Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings” and Goins’ does not have much listed. He lists “AUG. MULLER GERMANY c 1955.” His second listing is even shorter “AUG. MULLER c 1955.” Apparently John Goins had encountered the Aug. Muller knives but apparently not very many. I suspect someone, perhaps Boker or Henckels, made this knife on contract. I do know historically there were lots of people importing German made knives shortly after the end of World War II; it would not surprise me to find out that Aug. Muller was another such endeavor.
