 ADDITIONAL INFO:      According to Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings, these knives were made for Montgomery Wards from approximately 1935 to 1950. Some knives were made by Utica, but I have no information on who made this knife. This knife had a crack in the front handle at the right hand pin that goes up to the top of the handle. I was able to remove it cleanly and prep the bone and liner and I glued it back in place with epoxy. Shaped nicely so that it locks back into position with the epoxy. After the epoxy dried I further filled in and sealed it with thin cyanoacrylate adhesive. I think this is a serviceable knife if someone wished to EDC it. The clip blade appears to be short when you look at it open but if you look down on the blades in the blade well it is right at full-length. Any longer and it would hit the tang of the sheepfoot blade. The manufacturer did a very nice job of cutlering this knife! There is not a lot of crank in the blades; they are pretty straight which is not an easy feat with four blades in such a small area! Priced to sell! Add it to your pocket or your collection today.
