Folk's, this is bar none the largest Stag handle on a knife that I have ever saw !!! And, its Crown Stag !!! This Gigantor knife weighs in at 2 lbs...It was made by a custom knifemaker, and I believe with all the Damascus steel in it, it has to have been imported from overseas somewhere or the sale price would be much higher...I cannot tell you its origin as the fella I purchased it from did not know...its appointed with a thick ornate brass hilt and has filework on the backspine of the blade app. 1/2 of the way up from the hilt...this knife if you are a Stag lover as I am, will just freak you out when you wrap your hand around it !!! I really would like to call this piece a short sword / knife !!!

This is a Custom Stag Damascus knife/short sword

Knife is 17 1/8" OAL

Blade is 10 1/2" and is just beautifull Damascus steel

Handle is Genuine Crown Stag

The Stag has deep grooves with tons of character all the way arond the handle...you can barely wrap your hand around it !!! Look at the pics and put the length of my thumb holding the knife and it will give you some perspective of just how massive the handle is !!! It has fiber & brass spacers in the handle similar to the way Marble's knives are made...putting a tape on around it, it measures 5 1/2" in circumference !!!

Topping off the end is a Giant Crown Stag pommel...this crown measures 2 1/2" straight across the back...huge !!! Just gorgeous on the end of it that can be seen in pics, it has that candle dripping look to it, simply outstanding Stag !!!

Hilt and top of handle is very thick ornate looking brass, really, a triple thick brass hilt with scrollwork in it the way it is made

Comes with its original well made custom oil tanned thick leather sheath with scrollwork on it and a heavy rivited belt loop - holster type sheath for easy carry

Knife is new and unused (tip of knife is slightly rounded) as is the sheath, never carried or used
