Folk's, I have a special little package for ya here with a knife and service medal & bar commemorating the Vietnam war. This type of knife was carried by several of our troops during the Vietnam war... When I had a chance to buy the knife from a Michigan knifemaker, I then decided to purchase the service medal and write up a salute to All who served in Vietnam...when those who served and came home in the late 1960's to early 1970's, they were treated so poorly, it has still stuck with me some 40 plus years later...I cannot even comprehend the way they must have felt after going thru what they did and being subjected to all the pain & ridicule they recieved from their own people & goverment...thank the good Lord that times and attitude have changed tword our servicemen & women in recent times...So in closing, I would publicly like to give a very heartfelt Thanks to all of you that did not get the respect and treatment from your people or your goverment that you so rightly deserved upon your return !!!

This is a Custom made Marble's / Camilus Jet Pilot Survival Commemorative knife

Knife is 9 3/4" OAL with a 5" blade

Blade has the blood groove (fuller) similar to originals...also has the large sawtooth teeth along backspine

Knife was custom made P. Scarborough of Michigan

Knife has double brass hilt & heavy round brass pommel

Knife blade is made from a WW2 Swiss Bayonet

Handle is custom done with spacers colored in green, yellow, red, in the proper order to form a badge of the Vietnam servive medal...these colors match the service medal that comes with the knife...rest of handle is stacked leather that Marble's brought into widespread use back over 100 yrs ago

Dog tags are attached to the sheath as seen in pics saying the knifemakers name and that it is a Vietnam Commemorative knife

Knife comes with a handmade sheath that matches the original design of the Marble's / Camillus type knife sheath...sheath has sharpening stone pouch on front like the originals & stone is included

Knife is in unsed condition

The service medal and bar are correct for serving in Vietnam and are pictured on the more details on next page

This knife and medal would make a dandy display for anyone wanting to commemoratate the Vietnam war
