CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   I bought this knife in the box and it appeared never to have been used. The bolsters were engraved with the man’s name on one side and an inscription from his wife on the other side. It appeared he had treasured the knife, kept it the box and never used it. The nice thing about the ScotchBrite finish on the bolsters is that the inscription could be buffed out one another ScotchBrite wheel and the knife looked like it was brand-new. There may be one or two spots in one of the bolsters that the engraving had gone deeper perhaps a period or a comma. Aside from that I don’t think there is any damage to the knife.

ADDITIONAL INFO:      The Silver Knight series were imported by Gerber from Sakai Japan from 1977 until 1994. I have the single blade lock back version of this knife, the same size and I carried it daily for a number of years. It makes an excellent EDC and packs a lot of cutting power in a small frame while being slim in the pocket and easy to carry and not a large “scary” knife. A great office knife!
