HANDLE: Hardwood handle with three brass rivets, possibly rosewood.

CONDITION:   Excellent +

DAMAGE:   Some shop wear and patina to the blade from environmental exposure.

BLADE WEAR: None. The knife appears to be unused as the blade was never sharpened for it left the factory. The knife has been rough finished, without a great deal of sanding on the handle and the final edge was never ground to sharpen the knife.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:   I believe this knife is a military contract cooking knife that somehow managed to leave the factory without a complete QC inspection. It is a very nice heavy-duty knife and would be right at home in a commercial kitchen or a military collection. If you actually want to use this knife for its intended purpose, I will be happy to sharpen it free of charge before shipping it.
