BOLSTERS:   Nickel silver

 

HANDLES:   Jigged black composite

 

BLADES:   Half saber ground clip blade with a nice swedge ground clip blade and pen blade.

 

LINERS:   Brass

 

TANG STAMPS:   HIBBARD/SPENCER/BARTLETT/& CO.

 

CONDITION:   Very good

 

DAMAGE:   Wear & dings to handles & bolsters. Surface pitting.

 

BLADE WEAR:   Approx 20%

 

SNAP:   Good snap and half stops on both blades.

 

 

 

MADE IN:   USA

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFO:      I don’t know who made this knife for HS&B although it does remind me quite a bit of the Camillus except the swedge on the blade is much larger than on the Camillus peanut. This is a very nice knife, though I think the master blade has been worn down about 1/8” due to sharpening over the years. If you like the peanut pattern, THIS ONE DOESN’T COME ALONG.
