Folk's, the Ideal Hunting knife was Webster Marble's 1st attempt at knife making, and as it turned out, his most successful. Introduced to the world in 1899, W L Marble had this to say about his design : This knife is the Ideal cross between a sticking and skinning knife.... hand made, hand tested. There is about as much difference between our Ideal Hunting knives and any other knife... as there is between a porcupine & a grizzly bear !!!

Knife is 8 1/2" OAL

Blade is 4 3/16"

Blade has the Liberty Bell etch and is brushed finish high carbon. Ideals are 1st recognized by the Huge Bloodgroove on each side

It is stamped: Marbles over USA

It is handled in Geniune Stag. Pommel is also Stag. A time tested full Stag knife. Stag is nice & thick and has great character all the way around. Very heavy Stag on this 1

Comes to ya New, in original Marbles box, never used or carried

Also has the Marbles oil tanned leather sheath W/ Internal cut guard, a very nice feature
