ADDITIONAL INFO:   I acquired this knife with a handle that was coming apart and it appeared that the knife had not been used very well during its lifetime. Since I have a soft spot in my heart for Barlows I always like to see one brought back to life. I took this knife apart and cleaned and polished the inside and added some nice thick sambar stag with great texture. The thickness of the stag and the texture affords a good grip on this knife even for someone with a large hand like myself.
