TANG STAMPS:   No tang stamp - blade is etched instead.

BLADE ETCH:  CAMILLUS/ROUGH CUT/TOBACCO/STOCKMAN

CONDITION:   Near Mint

DAMAGE:  Slight staining of blades, (see pictures), may have slight shop wear, a couple marks on blades.

BLADE WEAR:   None, blades appear to have factory edge

ADDITIONAL INFO:      This is one of the last of the large stockman patterns that Camillus made, that I am aware of. I believe these were made shortly before Camillus went out of business and they were probably using parts from Remington or other SFO knives to make these. If you notice the tang of the master blade the original marking has been ground off. Camillus did this with a lot of blades that had been stamped with another name so that they could use them for their own branded knives.

There were a lot of these around six or seven years ago, but they have sort of faded quickly. This is only the second one I have seen this year. Here’s a chance to have this one to your collection.
