ADDITIONAL INFO:      I know very little about Cattaraugus knives except I know they are very well made knives. I have worked on a few and I do have some parts for them so I can attest to the quality that I have seen in these knives I worked on and the parts that I have. No natural shell material photographs well and this Opal Pearl is no exception. The fire in the depth in this handle is just not something a camera can capture so I think once you get the knife in your hand you will agree the handle looks far better than the pictures do. If you look at the top of both blades you will see the spine of these blades have been beveled to allow the blades to fit in this frame easier and not strike one another. To me this knife is an absolute marvel of the Cutler’s art! A treasured addition to anyone’s collection.
