SNAP:  Typically many lockback patterns to not have snap to speak of this knife does.

ADDITIONAL INFO:                        The Folding Sportsman series of knives were made at the Gerber Legendary Blades factory in Portland Oregon. The series was introduced in the early 1970s. The original handles had an inlay of rosewood in them. Over the years these could become soft or damaged from use. Portions of the handle inlay on this knife had split and broken off. I replaced it with a little bit tougher material; water buffalo horn. This would make a great piece for a collection or an excellent EDC.
