ADDITIONAL INFO:                        This is a used knife, probably made in the late 1930s. The leather handles had begun to rot and decompose so I removed them cleaned up the steel and installed Sambar stag handles. To prevent moisture from getting behind the handles I sealed the stag to the bifurcated tang with epoxy and then pinned the stag for extra insurance that it doesn’t come loose. This is a popular size and very pretty stag. I hope you enjoy it on your fishing and hunting trips.
