​Up for sale is an authentic vintage Schrade Cutlery USA 160OT Old Timer "Mountain Lion" fixed blade hunting / skinning knife. Handcrafted at the historic Ellenville, New York factory, this classic trailing point hunter features a high-carbon cutlery steel blade, solid brass crossguard, sawcut brown Delrin handle scales secured with three large nickel silver rivets, inserted raised "OLD TIMER" shield, and its original brown leather sheath complete with the sharpening stone pocket and stone.

​This knife is in near-mint, uncarried vintage condition as detailed below.

​Condition Report:

​The Blade: Near-mint condition. The high-carbon steel trailing point blade retains 100% full original factory profile, satin grind lines, razor-sharp factory edge, and needle tip with no signs of sharpening. Faint "SCHRADE SUPER-SHARP" factory blade etch is visible under direct light. The blade shows a few minor, faint storage/water spots as noted. Tang is stamped "SCHRADE / U.S.A. 160OT".

​The Handle & Hardware: Flawless condition. Rich sawcut Delrin handle scales are tight with zero cracks or chips. Large rivets and inserted Old Timer shield are crisp. Solid brass guard is bright with minor natural surface storage patina.

​The Sheath & Stone: Excellent condition. Supple dark brown leather sheath with tight stitching, intact retention straps, and fully functional brass snaps. Includes the original rectangular stone.
